About Me

My name is Philip Ndengu. I reside in Nairobi though was born and raised in my village back in Western Kenya. Studied my Primary and secondary Education from my village in Kakamega before joining Jomo Kenyata University Of Agriculture and technology. I am a first born in a family of five and everyone in the family is looking up to me.
I just finished my college education last year and I wish to begin doing something that will generate income for myself.
I have been doing some job on a contract basis but it isn't fulfilling to all my needs. I have therefore begun doing online freelance as i seek to expand my vision of working at my own convenience from home. I am using someone else's computer to do this. You can tell how inconvinient this can be when the owner needs it. I have a good number of clients already who we are working with and am doing well. I seek a loan that will help me buy my own laptop for the freelance jobs. I am certain this will be able to pay the loan even before the expectated duration is over.

My Business

I am doing online freelance as my business. I have many clients who I work with depending on their instructions. Most of what I do is writing essays, research proposals among other academic jobs. I also write blog and site articles for different clients online. I have been doing this on my cousin's computer for the last one month. However, there are more jobs available that need me to attend to which i can't since I have to use the computer when it is available.
The costs incurred in this business are very minimal since I work from the comfort of my house. Internet and electricity bill are about $4 in a week.
My weekly revenue from the business for the last one month has been $50. I target a revenue of $150 per week working with my own laptop since I'll be able to work full time with no inconveniences.

I am currently supporting my young brother who is in college. There is therefore a great need for me to work full time to increase on my revenue.
The Loan will be a through way for me towards achieving this. Get me the funds please. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I greatly appreciate you (Zidisha team) for creating such a platform that offers opportunity for accessing funding for bussinesses. This is my first loan to apply with you and i hope to apply for more as i seek to expand my business.
This loan will be of great help for me in stabilizing my online freelance business.
I will use the $200 to buy a laptop to use for my business.
This will increase my weekly revenue to upto $150 making it easier to settle the loan quickly and earlir than stated. I will be able to settle my brother's school needs on time as well.
Thanks to all the lenders in advance.

    Hi Lenders,
I am really sorry for being away for a while. Things have been tough for months now. I haven't been online since May. However, I am back and things just started getting better. I promise to clear the loan. I know I am behind schedule and am going to catch up with in a few weeks time. I will be committing 75 percent of the income generated to clearing this loan.
    Thank you so much.

      Ndengu:

I am glad you are doing better, life happens sometimes. Sure people want to see loans paid on time. To me I am even more impressed when the uncertainties of the world catch a person, and despite that they press on and complete commitment.

Good luck and my very best wishes

      - Ed
