About Me

I am Emmanuel Twumasi, i come from Mim and i am 26 years. I come from a family of ten(10), my parents, seven other siblings and i am the sixth born. My parents are Mr. and Mrs. Adu-Gyamfi,i am a member of Assemblies of God church Mim branch. I attended S.D.A basic school in Mim and completed in 2009.I couldn't further my education after J.H.S because i did not pass my the Basic Education Certificate Examination so i went and learned leather work. After three years of apprenticeship i graduated and started my own shop. I am not married, the food I like most is rice and stew and i like playing football.

My Business

I have worked in my shop since 2013. i sell leather materials like leather shoes, sandals. slippers and i also mend torn leather materials. My services and products are very useful because i produce sandals and sell them to members of my community and basic school students at the beginning of every academic year, i also mend the footwear of the community member and this helps them suspend buying new ones. I chose to do this kind of business because i realized my parents do not have much money and i noticed this work don't require a lot of materials to start it. I usually spend between 800 and 1000 Ghana Cedis for production in a month and i make a profit of 300 and 450 Ghana Cedis when i get good market. I support my two younger siblings in their secondary education with some of my profit and reinvest the remaining in my work.

Loan Proposal

Leather work has been my trade for about three years, I produce sandals, slippers, bag and belt for sale. I am again learning how to sew car seats in addition to what i do as result I wish to request for a loan of $187 to aid me buy more leather and other materials for my work. If I am given this loan, I will buy leather for $100, thread $20, soles $60 and buckles to help improve my business. This loan will help boost my work and also increase my chances of earning more profit and I will repay the loan regularly, thank you lenders.
