About Me

I am a 25 year old salonist based in Ngarariga town and a certificate holder in business management. I started my business way back in 2011 after my mom passed away. My dad was sick too (AIDS) so I had to take care of him and other siblings as well. He passed away as well.

I faced tough times when starting my salon. I actually started it at home where I depended on the word of mouth to get customers. Through the help of a merry go round I saved enough to start a salon. The business has been good; at least it provides my rent and buys food for my 5 siblings. It became hard getting funds through the merry go round as interests were high.

When I heard about Zidisha I knew for sure that is the break I have been waiting for. If my loan gets fully funded I will expand my business to buy a few accessories and also pile up stocks of beauty products so it becomes a one stop salon.

Monthly Income $300 (Kshs 25,000)
Expenses $100(Kshs 8,500)
Miscellaneous $50(Kshs 5,000)
Balance $ 150(Kshs 11,500)

If my loan is fully funded, I will spread it across installments that I will be able to pay comfortably and come back for more funds to make my dream come true.
With the above earnings (which I expect to increase after a financial boost) I will be able to repay. God bless you

I am kindly requesting that you lend me $150 to help me purchase a blow-drier for my salon. I have been turning away customers because I don't have a blow drier in my salon and at times I wonder how things would have been if I had one. I bet that would increase my income, a fact that would help me reach my business goals faster. I promise to pay the loan to the last installment since and come back for more. Please hear me out.
