About Me

I, Festus Rotich, am the second born in a family of five. Am a Kenyan citizen, from Bomet Conty, Bomet Central Constituency, Singorwet Ward, Singorwet location, Singorwet sub-location. Currently I am in Juja Town. I schooled in Balek Christian Academy for primary eductation where i sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E). I then joined kipsuter high school where I sat for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E), later to join Jomo Kenyatta Univerity of Agriculture and Technology to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and rural development.
Given the favourable weather conditions, my location supports various agricultural products. I face hardship in paying fees that's why I started the business.

My Business

my business deals with agricultural goods since they are marketable.
I incur production cost mainly. My area is mostly agricultural and that's why I choose to be an agriculturalist. My business deals majorly in Agricultural Products. The factor that I started the enterprise is due to a large consumption of agricultural products. The fact that I study an agricultural course has been a major boost since it gives me the requisite skills required in the field. However, in Jomo Kenyatta Univerity of Agriculture and Technology I learnt how to go about in life. Through Internet I saw zidisha then I started applying to be a member.

Loan Proposal

Given the requested amount, I will add more livestock, 2 heifers, to the existing breeding stock. Livestock production is profitable in that the presence of several cooling plants which were donated by the county government has made me to concentrate my efforts on the trade of livestock products.
The extra purchase of stock will help me increase my sales, in terms of the livestock products in manure and milk. it also will create employment to the neighbours in that they will sell me extra feeds and also in hand-milking.
I estimate a 5-10% increase in profits.
