Since i was in school i have always dreamt to do business. After school i got employed in a boutique in Mombasa where i was working but back in my mind i was getting a business experience to actualize my dream.at the start i had some financial challenges but through my savings from the little salary i got i was able to raise some capital that enabled me to start the business. in 2012 i began my business and i encountered some normal challenges that every young business faces like straining with rent, permits and trying to create a customer base. etc.my place of business is quite ok because in mombasa people really party alot so there's much demand on party dresses.make ups and casual shoes.
my business is mainly about fashion and beauty where i sell handbags, shoes makeups and clothes.i normally set daily and weekly targets for the shop so us to meet the shop expenses, stocking plus rents expenses and my upkeep.it has always been my passion to be in the fashion industry. My shop expenses are:the shop rent, power bills and transportation of stock. From when i started the business,I've been using the profit to grow my business in different ways:getting an internet connection in my shop so as to market the business online, buying shop equipments like manikins and jewellery stands.I only use a quarter of the profit for my upkeep and paying my tithe.
am intending to stock for clothes and shoes to add on what i have now, which are handbags and make ups.In Mombasa we are in high peak season now and there is much demand in party dresses, jeggings, skin tights, skinny jeans, gladiator shoes, peeptoe heels, indian sandals e.t.c.This might cost abit much cash,i have some cash left from the profit i made previously, thats why am requesting for the loan so that i can get cash to add o what i have and buy the goods i desperately need.
I'll get good profit especially from the clothes since one party dress goes for 2dollars on wholesale and 800 dollars on retail. As for the shoes, the price are a bit high but better still, one makes a good profit from the sale.
I'll be so glad to accomplish this, since i'll be able to care for all the fashion needs of my customers, hence growth for my bussiness. Thanks
