About Me

Working at community level exposed me to the real poverty situation and the sufferings the communities go through. This is when i saw that more needed to be done apart from reaching out the community with health services. I started forming up groups known as support groups in 2013 that were very specific to the vulnerable groups i.e the youth, women,OVCs and PLHIVs. In mid-2014 i was able to see the innovative minds in these groups especially in the clothing sector. This is when i started up Golinclothing, an informal business to assist in marketing some of the products produced by these groups. By November 2014, these groups had become more innovative producing more products other than clothing. Some of these products include: Swahili vikoi, Maasai Shukas, Maasai sandles, Traditional African baskets, herbal soaps, and disinfectants among others.

These innovative minds is what has made me to register once known as GOLINCLOTHING to GOLIN SOLUTION in January 2015. This business acts as the retail center to the support groups producing these products hence creating job opportunities that will contribute in improving the socio-economic status of these vulnerable groups in the country.

My Business

I consider myself as an upcoming young entrepreneur from Kenya who uses community based business strategy to curb the increasing unemployment among the most vulnerable groups in the country. Though trained as a Public health specialist, the increasing inequality among the communities we live in is what has driven me to venture into business with aim of improving the socio-economic status of the communities i serve for i stand for equality.

Main products that i sale include: Maasai Shukas, Modern traditional African Men Shirts, Swahili Vikoi, Maasai shoes etc.

Loan Proposal

Am a local Entrepreneur dealing with modern traditional African clothing in Kenya. I have a retail shop in Kakamega and i have acquired a new stock which needs to be transported From Nakuru.

However i have run shot of money to transport the goods hence the need an emergency loan.

Hereby i kindly request for a loan of $50 to use it to hire a car that will transport these goods as soon as possible. I shall be very great full for your assistance.
