About Me

I grew up in a humble background and have been blessed with two children. With education matters, I cleared high school, and unfortunately, due to a lack of fees, I could not proceed to college. But still, I have hope that with my business plan to generate funds, I will one day join college. After lacking school fees for college studies, I thought of what I could do to sustain my living and save money for my college studies. The business of selling clothes was the idea. The place I live in now has a very competitive and ready market for clothes due to the high population. My biggest dream in life is to work hard for the sake of my children so that they get the best in later life, with education and good health. My hobbies include; reading informative articles, adventure, designing clothes, and socializing.

My Business

Currently, I am working as a business process outsourcing agent (BPO) in Nairobi city; after getting this job, I suspended the clothing business for a while. I have been saving since from the clothes business I have been doing. Currently, I want to enroll for a degree in one of the local universities. I believe education is always one of the great pillars in life, and it helps in getting more knowledge and skills on how to be innovative and handle issues that come along in life. I also view education as a great investment in life, which is why I am enrolling for a university degree.
So, I have decided that I need to seek for a boost of the savings I have through the Zidisha loan so that I can enroll. The cost for a whole academic year is $1350. I will plan o be paying the loan from the monthly income I get from my job.

Loan Proposal

With the loan i am applying for i will use to buy several types of clothes i will be selling. With $40 i will buy ladies clothes , $40 will be for the children clothes and finally $20 will be for the men's clothes. I have subdivide into the respective because of the demand in market. This project is going to help me further improve my living standards and save funds for my college studies and for my child because he is 2 years old and very soon he will be joining pre-school. With this loan i have applied for, it is going to improve my daily profit from $5 to $ 8.
