About Me

I'm eddy chigunda born the year 1989 in Mtwapa Kenya. I started my education at Mtomondoni primary in 1985 and later joined Shimo la Tewa high school in 2005 till 2008. I then joined Mombasa polytechnic and did diploma in industrial chemistry, currently i work as the laboratory technician at Roka secondary school. There after i started my business in 2012, i deal with general supplies. I started with this business because it did not require much capital and also to increase my income as its very profitable. The earnings from my business is mainly for my upkeep and paying rent and salary for the two young boys who i work with. So far i helped the boys who i employed by paying for their college fees at mombasa technical training institute where they learn . One is doing procurement and the other one is taking sales and marketing, these are diploma courses . Am real proud of this as i have changed life of two young men in my locality and my aim is to do a great thing to the community . Currently i pay school fees for my younger sister at high school. The other one who completed high school last year i tried and opened a salon for her where she is trying to collect money for her college fees.

My Business

Iam a lab technician at roka secondary school and i run general supplies busness. Imainly deal with delivery of school products like stationery , food products and computer accessories,the main challenge is lack of enough capital thus being unable to supply huge tenders hence making my returns being low ,this gives my competitors easy time to take these huge tenders, but with zidisha loan i will be able to cope the competition. Sometimes lack of capital makes me fail to deliver on time, but i thank GOD so far as i have been able to cope with it without any problem as my customers understand me very well and i believe zidisha loan will help me improve greatly. My earnings per month range to ksh.50000/= subracting my expenses i remain with ksh.21450/=

Loan Proposal

i take this opportunity to thank zidisha for the help they are giving to young entrepreneurs in different parts of the world. i will use the loan given to purchase computer accessories for supply of a tender that i won recently from chumani secondary school. in this tender am supposed to use 500 us dollars but at the moment i only have 370 us dollars. granted this loan will help me a great. this i how i will use the loan;i will use 140 us dollars to purchase 14 pieces of mouse @10 dollars each and sell it at 15 us dollars. the whole tender and repair will bring back 920 us dollars making a profit of 420 us dollars. this will help me a great to repay the loan and part of it in helping pay fee for my younger sister who will join shanzu teachers training college by mid October. please help me
