About Me

I am Jonathan Owusu Kodua,20 years old from Yamfo in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.I started my education at Yamfo Presby KG,from KG to primary and from primary to JHS at the same school.After completed JHs I continued my secondary school at Yamfo Anglican SHS which I graduated from there last year.My greatest challenge in life is when I was at the SHS 2 I struggled to pay my school fees due to the fact that my parents were facing a huge financial problem. I was able to overcome this difficulty when my uncle came in to help and if not that I would have stop schooling that time.I started my own business as pig farmer when I completed SHS last year and I started with three pigs.Yamfo is a growing town and has a fertile land for animal rearing and crop production.In future I want my children to be pilots and extension officers so that the help my community.My hobby is reading and I enjoy it on my leisure time also am a football fan and I really enjoy it when my club Chelsea plays.

My Business

I rare pigs so am a pig farmer as their meat helps in my community to get meat for their consumption.I choose to be a pig farmer as I realized that they are more prolific animals and also there is unemployment situation in Ghana and this will help as my job.Since I started I have sold more of the pigs which is uncountable and I normally sell the one month old pig for 200 CEDI's per head.I used my profits to reinvest my farms since some structures needs to be replaced.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy feed and drugs for my pigs with an amount of 30$ for the feed and 30$ for the drugs.
This loan will help me to widen up my farm thereby increasing my revenue and also help my community to get meat and serve as employment for the people.
I expect this loan to increase my revenue to at 70%.
