About Me

Mercy Salifu is my name. I come form the Northern Region of Ghana. a member of zidisha, I am married with two kids. I am a secondary school drop out since my parents didn't have the financial muscles to help me complete. I am into the sell of hot meals, waakye to be precise at a school canteen. I have this business for quite a long time so I know the ups and downs of it. My elder son will like to be a dentist when he grows up whiles the younger one will like to be an accountant.

My Business

I am into selling of waakye at a school canteen, this business is helpful because it helps me generate income to support my family and also feed school children. I also deal in the selling of slippers. I incur a cost of GHS 900 and a revenue of GHS 1800.

Loan Proposal

I will buy rice and vegetables for the preparation of waakye with the loan. This will help my business to grow and help me to increase my profit and also help my customers get enough waakye to buy anytime the visit my place to buy waakye. This will help me increase my profit to GHS 1100.

Income Source

Since people have been eating everyday, it will be very difficult for me to run at a loss but in case of any risk I will use profit from my slippers business to repay the loan.
