My name is Evans Miriti I was born in Tharaka Nithi County in the year 1982. I am the third born in a family of three children our first born is a teacher at nearby primary school called Muraga primary, the second born is a business lady. My parents are tea farmers as well as dairy farming. I was bought up in Tharaka Nithi County but I moved to Nakuru Town the year 2006, where I live to date in Langalanga Estate. I am a business man and I hope I will live to be one.
I started my schooling at Muraga primary school the year 1989, until I did my K.C.P.E in 1998, I did well and proceed to Ikuu boys’ high school of which I did my S.C.S.E in 2002 and I got C- (minus)
My journey to business world was hectic one, I started selling handkerchiefs the year 2006 in Nakuru Town, and we used to live four guys in a single room. In the year 2008 I stopped selling handkerchiefs and started selling second hand shoes using the savings I had saved plus a loan I borrowed from my aunt. My business have grown since I have a shoe in Nakuru town the earning that I earn has helped me buy a motorcycle –KMCU 75K, I also have a rabbit rearing business which seems to be promising.
If granted the Zidisha loan am very sure I will pay the loan with the money I get from my motorbike which I have hired someone to operate. There is a great demand for my service especially the motorbike business due to its convenience speed, time saving and also pocket friendly to the customers.
This business is profitable since there is always customer in hand, the maintenance also does not need much money. It also uses little fuel making it more profitable.
My business forces, some risks one of item is theft, secondly the police harassment, but I have decided to stick to it since there is no business without risks. My monthly (cost are 1,200/=, revenue 7,800) profit 6,600/=.
I want to thank all my lenders who have been there for me, I want to say thank you a million, I am also here to ask for more help to keep adding stock to my motorbikes Business, I want to purchase 4 Umbrellas for my motorbikes in this raining seasons, each Umbrella costing $30 which will give a total of $120 and the remaining $$ I will invest in a new motorbike which I am trying to purchase, I have already paid $500 as a deposit of my new motorbike and i have remained with $800 to complete of which the deposited amount is the profit I have made through my previous Loan, upon purchasing of the umbrellas, it will make my clients more comfortable on this raining season. I also get more profits from the spare parts I also sell from the motorbikes spare parts. last profit I made it was $745 and I believe this time I will make more bigger profit than that.
