About Me
I was born a third born in a family of three boys,i joined my primary school in 1989 at matathia primary school,i joined form one in 1997 and completed high school 2000.due to luck of college fee i moved to Limuru town .where i met new friend who really welcomed me to stay with him and help him in his business of ferrying water with the donkey in Limuru town..i went to driving school to get LICENSE during my free time because i had a dream that one day one time i would ride or drive my car. as a great friend he introduced me to a merry go round in the market where he opened me an account with the group and encouraged me to start the saving with the group weekly.i was saving 300 in a week.through my saving my friend and by the help of my friend i bought my own donkey,at a cost of 9,000.it was a challenge getting customers to fetch water for but after long struggle i got my own customers. as i was still in business my donkey was stolen together with the cat;that how i got an idea to get a car.after much saving i decided to get loan with my self help group where i got money to buy a used car,and repaired it.as i bought my car i used it to fetch water now faster,convenient to customers than the donkey.after fetching water in the evening i take my car to a to taxi parking town,where i carry now clients.i have finished repaying the loan,now i stay in my own rented house in limuru from a friends house who welcomed me.
My Business
For now am with that taxi business and also i i ferry water during the day.my business of water fetching has a very high demand in our town because no piped water and water is life,everybody needs water.am determined to achieve my goal to buy my own tanker to ferry water or drill my own bore-hole in limuru to supply and sell top locals.i charge one bucket of water at 30.i can fetch about 30 buckets in a day.through that i earn my living to feed my family and repay my loan in the group.since last month my car gear broke down and i need to buy another used gear at a cost of 23,000 now i only have 9,000 .am now in need of 14,000 to repair and install a used gear in my car.i wish the zidisha community to help me raise my income generating car to come back in business again.i plan to come back to business i will be able to repay the loan,pay rent and feed my family,and pay my wife ECD tuition fee..
Loan Proposal
All the the loan will go towards buying second hand gear box for my taxi,and i will raise the remaining from my own pocket and friends.i will be very grateful for the loan i will expect to recover from my lost business and clients since the taxi broke down.now the taxi will be more profitable and efficient to meet my clients needs and demand.i will be able to provide for my family and repay the loan,pay my rent.
