About Me
Am Bob kamau Nungari, I live in thika makongeni estate which is located at Kiambu County. I schooled at Thika primary school and then proceed to Chania boys high school for secondary certificate where in 2006 I completed my final examination and obtained a C+, this results created a room for me to pursue a career in sales and marketing at Vision Institute in Nairobi. Due to highly living cost in Nairobi I Changed my college and transferred to Thika where the cost of living was a bit lower than compared to Nairobi. Through ups and down I managed to gather enough cash and I started selling airtime to my fellow students at school. This really boosted my economic life and I had enough capital to start a better business and from my own research I saw its good for me to start supplying cooking gas in my residential place as more people in town nowadays prefer cooking in gas as its more efficient and economical than cooking in charcoal and woods. In the process I was lucky to get employed at Chania feeds limited as sales representative, I marketed the company goods and made deliveries to their designed places. And because of being busy at job I had to employ a young man to make gas distribution on my behalf and I would pay on commission.
My Business
I do refill empty cylinder gas of all sizes and sell cooking gas at makongeni estate. Phase 4 area. I prefered this business as it has good income, as there was no one in our area who was doing this business and I thought its wise to commence this business. In order to make it attractive and fair to my customers I always transported and delivered the gas free of charge without making any charges using my bicycle and from this act I now have genuine customers who always rely on me. Difficulties which I encounter in this business is that sometimes prices of gases may fluctuate and drop drastically thus incurring losses and for me to curb this I normally purchase more cylinders when the purchasing prices are at low cost, on the other hand I purchase less cylinders when the purchase cost are lower.

It is with great honour that I place my loan application on this platform. As I had stated earlier my business involves selling of complete gas and refilling empty cylinders. My business has been running quite very well and all I need from zidisha community is a boosting loan. The loan you will fund me I will use it as I have budgeted here below 1. 45% of this loan I will buy empty cylinders from the main licenced distributors thus I will be sold this cylinders at a lower cost than when buying from local agents. 2. 25% of this loan I will buy weighing machine, this machine will be a prove to customers that the gas cylinder has be fully refilled, as I want my customers to be fully assured that their gas cylinders are fully filled. 3. 30% of this loan I will utilize it in meeting other operative expenses in my job such as repairing and maintenance of my bicycle, paying bills such as water and electricity bills.
