My name is Lavine Makungu, born in 1985 in Western Kenya.
I love myself so much and I love God.
I am an orphan and guardian to two sisters, since my mother passed on while I was in form three [High School].
I sat my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams and pursued a certificate course in secretarial.
I am married and blessed with one child.
My husband is involved in church ministry in Kawangware - Nairobi, a slum area.
I would be grateful if given loan to boost my business.
I usually sell secondhand clothes, which I buy from Gikomba-Nairobi, then do house-to-house selling to my neighbours and the community around where I live.
My clothes retail between $1 and $3 each, earning me approx. half a dollar per piece.
I wish to expand my current stock by $50, so that it can grow faster and help me better support my younger sisters as well as improve my family.
I have been able to build rapport with the neighbouring community to the extent that I can no longer satisfy their demand for the items I sell.
The full loan amount will therefore be utilized in buying additional clothing stock.
Your assistance is appreciated.
