About Me

My name is Gerald Mutunga also known as Jerry, i live and work in Nairobi city where i was also brought up. I was born in the year 1987, in a family of three . Being the second born in our family. I went to Umoja Primary school in Kasarani, and Later on joined Jomo Kenyatta high school in Nairobi. After completing secondary school, i didn join college because my grades were not so good. i thus decided to venture myself into business as an alternative to my living. I started selling second hand clothes to the locals in Umoja town, i did the business for a period of three years made good savings that was enough to let me start my own shop in town. With the savings that i made, i open a shop in Nairobi town where i sale ladies shoes, this was made possible as a result of the savings that i made from selling the second hand clothes.
What i find unique in our land are the people living in this town and doing business. They are unique because they operate 24 hour. Nairobi is a 24 hour economy and for you to get something at the end of the day, youust do something unique to outdo other competitors in the market places.
I don't have children. My hobby is watching football.

My Business

I sale ladies shoes in Nairobi town, this includes Heels, wedges, sandal, open shoes, closed shoes, doll shoes and also rubber shoes. This goods are useful because with they make our dressing complement each other. it is also on demand because with the population of Nairobi largely made of the female, i tend to get more customers feom the ladies and for that reason the demand is high.
I chose to do the business largely influenced by the population of the ladies inhabiting Nairobi town. They are many ladies than men amd for that reason i found the market for the ladies shoes quite ideal. I have been using the profits that i make to continue growing my business. I mostly use my profits to add my stock, buy new shoes that are on demand as well as the latest shoes in town.

Loan Proposal

I am humbled by the opportunity given by zidisha organization to express my need. With the loan, i will add my personal savings budgeted to total 300 us dollars. I will therefore use the money to buy ladies clothings that i can sale at my shop in town. Lately i have been receiving demands of clothes from the ladies and for that reason i wish to bring the ladies clothes to quech there demads.
I will benefit from the same because i will add my profit, my customer will also benefit because i will have brought the good that they demand closer to them. If i bring the clothes i expect my profits to increase by almost 200 us dollars in the next two months.
