About Me

I was born and brought in Meru Mau village in a christian family. My farmer was a peasant farmer and I had a humble beginning in my childhood. I am married with two beautiful daughters, age 12 and . Currently I live in Naivasha where I have established a saloon business run by my wife. I studied in local primary school and managed to get a direct university entry and persued a bachelor of degree Arts and currently I do teach in secondary school.
I started my business three years ago with a seed capital of $ 350 from saving. I used the money to buy second hand saloon equipments and hiring a business room in heart of naivasha town.
My unique thing about the my place live is that we have a cosmopolitan tribes who live peaceful with one another and my place receive enough rainfall by year and practice farming and fishing in Lake Naivasha.
My first born daughter want to be medical doctor and second born want to be an accountant in future.
My unique hobby is training and coaching music in my neighborhood schools and churches all Naivasha town.

My Business

I own a saloon in heart of Naivasha town and is operated my wife. I offer all saloon services but in small scale .
This service is useful because it provide job opportunities to jobless youth who come and trained in my saloon and they start their own business, also the service is important because it makes my clients look neat and presentable.
There is high demand of service in my community due to modernization as everybody want to be associated with modern hair style.
I choose the business because there is ready market for the services, population in town is high and wife has trained as a saloonist.
I started the business with seed capital of $350 which I used to rent a business house and bought seconghand saloon equipment to run the business. I do get an average revenue of $150 per month.
The profit I do get I used to pay school for daughters who are studying in middle class academy school, other I do reinvest back to business to expand it and the remain one use for domestic use and saving.

Loan Proposal

I am borrowing $100 to buy two hair drying which cost $ 56 dollars each to expand my business. The ones I have they break up every time and then because I bought secondhands when I started the business. Currently I have good number of clients which has made me to buy quality machice to sustain them.
When I will get the loan I will buy the machine and my business will expand because I will doing quality work and quickly. My clients will have also have quality hair do.
The business will generate addition of $50 every month so in totally we manage to generate an average of $200 per month and this enable me pay the loan on time and improve my living standard of my family.
