About Me

My name is John Bede, i was born in the Nyanza part of Kenya, a place called Kisumu specifically a small village called Nyakatch. I was named John Bede in luo Bede means from the lake side. They thus named me Bede meaning i was born near the lake. My childhood and education can be traced back to the small town called Nyakatch. I was a pupil at Nyangumo Primary school and later on joined Nyalenda secondary school. I finished school well, passed but i never joined the University because of financial problems. My father had three wifes and 15 children, It was thus challenging for him to educate all of us.
I ended my education at that level and started engaging myself into business, my father owned several Tuk Tuks in town and i was thus given the responsibility to ride one and take care of it. That is how i came to start the tuk tuk transport business.
What i call or see unique in our home is that we are blessed by the great lake Victoria that produces a lot of Fish for sale and consumption.

My Business

I offer transportation services in Kisumu town, i have been employed by my father to run one of his Tuk Tuk and hence i carry people within town from one place to the other. This service are useful in that they help people get to their places of need within a very short time. It is a also useful because during traffic jams one can avoid the heavy traffic and get to place of need quickly. The demand is high because of the large population of people living in Kisumu. This makes me get customers and good income.
I use the profits that i make to support some of my siblings, support myself financially and also save some. I wish to use the savings to buy my own Tuk Tuk so that i can be running my own business.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for the initial loan, it enabled me buy the Tuk Tuk and it has seen me grow so much since then.
The new loan will be invested into purchase of a a new motorbike that will support me in my business, i wish to buy a second hand motorbike costing 350 us dollars. The 37 us dollars will be aded to my savings and carry out the purchase.
I will benefit so much because with the motorbike aside from my Tuk Tuk business, i will be making a profit of 15 us dollars.
