Well, I am a middle aged man living with my family and doing business.
I was born and brought up in upcountry, educated and god fearing man. Throughout my young age i helped my parents who were farmers with the domestic activities mainly farming and rearing cattle. Being a first born in a family of five managed to study up to the university level and acquired a degree in Agriculture and livestock management. For some years I could only get short contracts jobs and i decided i need to think of setting up my business relating to the same field. I saved for a year and borrowed some money from my friends to set up an Agro vet Shop. This is how I came to tart my own business and overcame a hardship of unemployment and poverty. Unique thing in the land I live is that people respect others and what they do as well as helping one another. My children would like to be educated and equipped with necessary skills to became entrepreneurs.My unique hobby is doing a community and social work like helping the locals know how best to coexist and grow economically.
Thank you.
My business is purely selling Animal and agricultural inputs and Services like Artificial Insemination to animals in the community. These goods and services are always on demand because in every country, Agriculture is the back born of a growing economy and my country has been in the fore front to do farming and cattle keeping for food and other needs. I choose this business because I am a profession in the field and much experienced person on the same area. Besides loving the job, it meets my expenses and sustains my life as an occupation.
My typical cost are usually the cost of buying various Animal drugs like deworming, parasitecides,Animal,birds and pet feeds, all the agricultural inputs like fertilizers,pesticides,various seeds, chemicals and so many others.
My profit usually goes towards reinvesting, meeting my expenses and helping my parents back home.
Thank you.
When I get the loan, I will buy the depleted items that are always on demand.
I will buy;
De worming drug (assorted) at $20.00,
Also on the list will be pesticides at $26.00,
I will also buy crops chemicals at $18.00.
Most important also will be chicken feeds for layers and broilers at $14.00 & $16.00 respectively.
The benefits are largely efficiency and availability of the inputs whenever customers needs. I will not fail to do services like pest control by spraying animals simply because I have the stock of the drugs required.
I expect my profit per week to shoot from the current USD 100.00 to 150 according to the season we have just started of rain.I will be so happy to achieve my dream target.
Thank you.
