About Me

Am a father of three children (two girls and one boy), I have lived in Mbita Township for the past 20years and am not intending to move any time soon. My last born son is in class three and the eldest in class five. I am an experienced teacher and I manage a Nursery and Pre-primary school here at Mbita, during my free time I offer guidance and counseling to teenage boys and girls who do come to our center for computer lessons. I started my business after noticing the importance of education in our community since I understand that the root of education is what determines the quality of education and in my community most parents did not understand the importance of early childhood education so I started the Nursery school with an aim to better the standard of education in my community.

My Business

My business involve managing a school where I and my staff we teach children who are starting school these are aged 3years and above for baby class is 3years to 4years and then Nursery is 4years to 5years then is Prue-Unit that is 5years to 6years,then from there we graduate them to early Primary that is from class 1-3, in my School I have seventeachers and two cleaners and one secretary so in total, I have 10 staff members, business is good since the community appreciates our work and they are very co-operative. The school business needs alot of capital especially at the start-up level, I need to buy chairs, games equipment and stationeries hence the need of a loan from ZIDISHA.

Loan Proposal

I am seeking a loan of KES 9,012 to enable me purchase the following teaching materials to facilitate my teaching at EDTEC Academy, where I am the headteacher;
-I will use KES 2,500 10 Packets of dustless chalk for use in classroom teaching.
-Purchase 3 Pkts of Pencils at a cost of KES 2,000
-Purchase Course Book/Sylabus for the ECD classes at a cost of KES 2,500
-Purchase assorted classroom guides at a cost of KES 2,000
