My name is Mercy Kayuni the first born from the family 8, being 5 ladies and 3 girls.I started my primary school in 1990 and went further to complete my High school level.I overcame hardship by becoming an enterprenure in our community.I started selling fritters and popcorns targeting school going children.Henceforth i started generating incomes through the same business until i opened up a Salon.Zambia is peaceful and no civil wars have been recorded. The country is rich in tourist industry and cultural dancing.I wish my children to work hard in life because in life things dont come easily.Hence i wish to go to University of Zambia.During my part time i play basket with my friend and also clubing.
I ran salon in our community i plat ladies hair everyday and also sell varies hair wigs for ladies. The goods are very useful and on demand because ladies nowdays want look beautiful and with different hair style.I choose these business because i mainly targeted ladies for this business.I have two hair driers which did cost me ZMK 700 and per person to have hair salon ZMK 30 which in a week if 30 customers i net ZMK 900 as income profit.Hence the profits for our home renovations under construction.
We need a loan to buy chairs for the saloon and other cosmetics for our customers to use while we they come to our shop.I need USD 100 to cover some expenses and above all we this saloon to be a force to reckon in future, we plan to improve the standards, to be making more revenue.
