About Me

My name is Alice Wanjiru kamau married and now with one baby boy, i schooled at Gikodi primary school then proceeded to Nginda Secondary school,I dint have the chance to join colled cause of financial difficalties i started a small howking business(bananas) i now have started a more decent job(boutique).I live in Mazeras in Kilifi county,i love socializing with people that i know and also with those i don'nt know sharing developing ideas in business.I have a boutique business that i started last year,Through this business i have managed to pay off some bills and also support my family like paying off school fees for my little sister who is in form two.

My Business

After High school i started a small hawking business that gave me some small savings, i joined a microfinance and after months of savings i was able borrow a loan of twenty thousands approximetly usd 240. I was now able to start a botique and managed to payback the loan,due to high intrest rates i left and concentrated on my profits to help expand my business,After learning about Zidisha's low intrest rates from John, i now wish to apply a loan and chip in the money to my shop to expand it even more.We don't own a house but have a rental house both for the business and where i live.Most of my customers are from the EPZ(export processing zone) that has about 4000 workers majority of them being women(roughly 3000).

Loan Proposal

first i would like to thank the whole Zidisha team for giving me this chance. When i gets the money i will buy kids cloths that will cost me around kenya shilling 5000 ($56.02), add some curtains worth 2000 kenya shillings ($22.41) to add stock to my business the rest of the amount i will buy materials for sewing women cloths.Kids clothes have high demand due to the high population in the area, I currently sells only adults and teens cloths, Please support me in this.Thanks in advance.
