About Me

I am the last child in a family of fifteen. My father got married to two women and in all his children I am the last one among them. I am now a graduate with a second class upper division in diploma in psychology and foundation of education. I saved my salary for two years before I was able to use that money to drill a borehole for water. People in my community are hard-working people and self reliant. I would like my children to become businessmen and businesswomen in the future. I like researching and studying when I am free.

My Business

I have a borehole for water. I have expanded it to about twenty houses in my community. I have also mounted poly tanks in front of the house where I live. I sell water to those who don't have piped bored water in their homes. As it is a saying that water is life, people in my community encounter difficulty in getting access to water. I took it upon myself to drill a borehole. It cost me about GHS15000 to drill, buy poly tanks and expand to houses in my area. I will use the profit to buy water equipment to houses that have no pipe in them.

Loan Proposal

I would use the loan to buy poly tanks and pipes to expand my water to most people in my community houses to be able to get access to water very easily. The cost of the above mentioned items is $1000.when the expansion of the water is successful ,my community members will get easier assess to drinking water.I hope to get a profit of 5% increased in my daily income.

Although not a perfect repayment schedule, Ahmed did made regular payments and paid his loan off early. I would recommend funding future loans for him as providing water for his community is very important work.

What has happened? Payments were coming regularly, then nothing. Is there a particular problem you are dealing with?

Hi Ahmed, Please contact [email protected] to adjust your payment. Put your country and reduce payment in the subject line. It is best to make very small payments rather than to skip payments, as this will hurt your repayment rate. Lenders do take this rate into consideration when lending. I hope your business picks up soon, Mary
