About Me

My full names are Nelson Simiyu wafula Masede. I happen to come from Nalondo village in Namwela location in Bungoma county government. My constituency is sirisia and its large with three main shopping centres namely Kikai market, namwela and sirisia market itself. I went namwela primary school which is about 15km from my home. Despite kamusinde secondary school being just at my doorstep, I opted for a school far from home at least for change of environment. I really loved athletics right from primary school and through secondary school. I am hopeful that one day I will run for my country Kenya as the furthest we reached as as school was at national level competition. After school a did carpentry extensively but unfortunately it is not a reliable income-generating activity. At my place ,carpenters are too many that even winning a client becomes difficult. I decided to venture into farming and started off with one dairy cattle. Now I am married and in possession of four cows which I milk daily and get my income.

My Business

I deal with farming and in particular dairy farming. I do harvest maize to but dairy farming is my favourite as my daily income comes from milk sale. milk is needed on daily basis because people do need it to prepare tea. At our rural place people don't buy packet milk from shops. They buy milk from homes of people who practise dairy farming. I sell my milk to my village residents and then part of it to Kenya creameries corporation branches and sit back as I wait for monthly income from KCC.(Kenya creameries corporation). I maintain my dairy cattle with commercial and local feeds In order to hit my target. I spend a lot on feeds but profit is also good.

I already have dairy cattle that provide me with income but wish to buy fertilizer at 15USD .

I already have some cash to start with but I need 10USD to top up .
