About Me

Hi am Alfred Onditi,a Kenyan by birth.I am a graduate of Agribusiness management.Due to low employment opportunities in my country I embarked on rice and watermelon farming to generate income! I lease small plots from people to make my dream come true! I have managed to build a permanent house for my mum and support my 3 other siblings education!

My Business

I do rice and watermelon farming at Ahero irrigation scheme.Since we dont own land my family and I lease small plots from land owners to make our farming dream true.A small plot costs $50 for about 3 months.I harvest bags and bags oftenly.I do this my using modern farming methods,Modern irrigation(sprinkler) and quality fertilizers! I also use casual labour so as to help jobless people in my community put food on the table.

Loan Proposal

I will buy fertilizers,lease more land and pay my workers.Looking foward to buy five sacks and also buy insectisides
