About Me

My name is Edina Mensah im from sunyani in the brong ahafo region,my parents are mr and mrs Ampofo all in sunyani my parents have 4 children iam the only girl. My parents did'nt further my education after i completed my senior high, because in our tradition here, they always take male child education better than the females hopping one day the woman will go to her husband house.
So my parents gave my hand in marriage to a man in near by village called mr mensah daniel a cocoa farmer when i was 22years. l have been with my husband for some years till one evenning when i was cooking supper for my family, l heard hailing and shouting outside mentioning my name i got outside and saw my neighbors crying telling me to get heart, because my loving husband is dead by a motorbike accident after returning from farm. That was the day my tragedy started.
I and my husband have 3 children all are girls, Serwaa the elder and the twin sisters Jane and Mat. So our only source of income to the family is the cocoa farm that my husband left for us.

My Business

As i said earliar we only survive in a cocoa farm my husband left for us. This farm give us more income to carter for my children. Hope if get support i will get more yields in future.
Ihave also made small suppermarket in my village which me and my clildren feed on when it is a dry season where there is no cocoa seeds. in my village here, we have only two small suppermarket here.
My dream is to enlarge it to a bigger shop when i get more fertilizers to my farm, hope i can achieve my aim.

Loan Proposal

if i get this loan, i will buy
2 bags of asaase wura cocoa fertilizers
1 box of pesticide
And a bag of ammonia for the young cocoa.
With this i hope i can get more income for my children education, because is not easy for staying with this children without money and better care, because i m doing my best for this children not miss their father, because i have always promise to take good care of them.
