I grew up in Laikipia county Nyahururu town, due to my family poverty level I managed to do my primary certificate only and ended up staying with my parents doing casual jobs to earn a living.I later married and now am living with my family. My future l would like to become a prominent goat farmer,as the demand for goat milk is very high due to high nutrients value.
My hobbies are swimming and singing
I started the business of rearing goats for milk production after having learnt that there was demand for milk and the revenue from it was sufficient.I started first by buying milk from farmers and selling them at a higher fee, after having made enough savings and established a good network and attended some training on goat farming, I managed to buy my own goat . My challenge is lack of enough money to buy feeds and medicine for the diseases that affect my goats . My goal is to own a milk distribution company and to be able to manufacture milk products. From my business I managed to maintain my farm and even save enough to construct a zero grazing structures .
I will add up the money to my savings and purchase buy a goat at a cost of $60,buy feeds for my goats at a cost of $30,and medicine at a cost of $10.From this purchase my goats will always produce more milk and the quantity will increase. My business will definitely grow with the increased revenue and profits. My family will never lack and my children education will be catered for.
