About Me

I was brought up in a low income family, went to school upto O level but was unable to proceed to college due to lack of school fees. I started engaging with charity work/volunteer work in my local church where I gained some experience that brought the idea of business. I proposed the idea to my sister who lent me 10,000.00 to start with.
I have three children in school who have big ambitions. And I could like to nature their talents by working hard to pay their school fees.

My Business

I do selling of new clothes and mitumba clothes in Kapsabet market plus the surrounding centres.
I chose this business because it looked lucrative and fast moving
The major costs in this business are county taxes/taxes that we pay in a daily basis. On a good day I can make sales of between 6000 and 10,000.00 KES reflecting to a profit of between 1000 to 2000 KES.
I use my profits to pay house rent, daily upkeep for my family and school fees for my children.

Loan Proposal

I am requesting for funds to purchase more ladies handbags imported. These bags have proved to be good for business and I want to venture more into this and make extra improvements. I also want to add more ladies dresses.
Bags will cost me USD 18 each, 20 bags Total USD 360.
Dresses will cost me USD 8 each, 10dresses Total USD 80.
The loan will boost my savings to help in doing this project.
If successful this will boost me in paying my bills and taking care of my children. Plus paying school fees for my children.

    I bought ladies hand bags. Though with some difficulty I have managed to finish the stock. The difficulty period we are going through in our country of elections has real affected me. But I have managed to raise funds to pay my loan I intend to go for imported bags that are currently doing well here.

    With my last loan I managed to purchase new clothes though I had ups and downs during the months of march and April I have managed to improve sales and hope for more. My profits have slightly improved. I am able to pay my bills in time.

    With my previous loan I purchased new clothes that I sold at good profits by that way I was able repay loan in time.
    I managed to pay bills and also school fees for my children.
