My name is Kusi Evans. I was born in Dormaa Ahenkro. I have spent all my life in Dormaa Ahenkro. My parents are all natives of Dormaa Ahenkro so typically I'm a native of Dormaa Ahenkro. They are farmers, but are peasant farmers. With regard to their financial status, they sent me to school and I completed Senior High School. Football is my favourite game and Chelsea FC is my team. My parents have been helpful to me though life had not been all that easy. They spent their time to advise me on furthering my education to a greater height possible but I was so lazy in studies and it was my wish to establish myself with business.
Even though I'm a Senior High graduate I could not be employed formally. The most common business in town has been carpentry, mason, fitting and tailoring. I could not engage myself in any of these but chose to sell general goods like baby diapers, milk, sugar, rice, polythene bags. These items are patronage greatly when you have them more and that attract customers. I think that I will not regret engage myself with this business because it has been supportive to my family. It has been the only source of livelihood for my family. I have three kids in school and their school fees and feeding are all catered for by the profits generated from my shop.
