About Me

Vicky is what I'm popularly called by friends. I obtained all my Basic and Junior High training in Enchi a School bearing the name, Wisdom Preparatory School. I continued to Nana BRENTU Secondary Technical School where my course was Agricultural Science. I passed well and furthered my course at the University. I was fully trained as a teacher and I was posted back to teach in my formal School. I have been able to raise some funds to open a shop which I sell many items and the profit I realize from my sakes are what I use to complement my salary to take care of my family.

My Business

padlocks, cooking oil,tin tomatoes, bags of perfume rice, nonalcoholic drinks such ad Fanta,Coca-cola, Sprite just to mention few are the primary items in my shop. When I started teaching and having business ideas in mind,I started saving and in about eight(8)months I managed to raise GHS6,500 at the Ghana Commercial Bank Ltd. I requested for a loan and the bank offered me Ghs4000. In sum, I had about Ghs10,000 to start with. I built a container store and stocked it with the remaining amount. I have kept this business close to nine years now. I have three children and married to a well-known cocoa farmer called Bright Appiagyei.

Loan Proposal

I will be very glad with lenders if they would fund my loan to enable me buy few items to stock my shop. Some of the items I will use the loan amount to purchase include: Perfume rice, Sugar for baking, sets of baby diapers, cooking oil, margerine, Milo, bathing soap. Below shows the corresponding list for my purchase.
1. Twelve (12) bags of perfume Rice $18.5
2. Eight(8) bags of Sugar for baking bread $19.2
3. Ten(10) sets of baby diapers for children $12.1
4. Eleven(11) boxes of cooking oil eg frytol $9.8
5. Six buckets of margering $12.2
Mostly, these items are the most demanding in my shop and the purchase will fetch me some profits to enable me feed my family and make some expenses in my family.

There were no payments from July 2018 to June 2020, when I finally gave up and transferred the loan to the Zidisha Members Loan Fund.
