About Me

My name is Juliana Asiedua. I am 38 years old and a perfectly true Ghanaian. I come from Bekwai, a farming community in the Tain district of the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I am married with 3 children. two boys and a girl. I had all these children with the help of my beloved and caring Husband. We live together in a one big compound house. My family are born farmers. To us, no schooling is important than to farm. My grand parents own large acres of farm lands in other parts of the country. They cultivated cocoa and cocoa on these farms. No wonder my late parents didn't find it important to educate me and other fifteen siblings . This attitude has change as years goes by. Now my first son is a teacher where as my last born is in her final year in the senior high school.

My Business

No body thought a fish how to swim or a horse how to run. Indeed there are certain professions or business that we consciously or unconsciously find ourselves on certain situations in life that changes the way we think and the way act as well. The idea about rearing farm animals such as turkey on a large scale came about when a family friend donated for birds to me. I personally prepared their sleeping place. A year later, I personally bought 10 additional birds in addition to what I had. As at now, I have 80 turkey birds I had. Yes business is good as I used to sell matured birds at $ 50.

Loan Proposal

I need a loan from Zidisha to enable me include foreign feeds to the local feeds I give to my birds. Because of the poor feeding habit and lack of nutritious food. This has made my birds loose weight. This affect their sales. Again several diseases attacks them due to the fact that they do not get a well balance diet. It has been my future plans to run a big turkey birds farm in the year 2. For this to become possible, I need the help from you . lending to me simple means helping me for a better future.
