My name is Melvin born in Kitale. I am the third born in a family of five. I was born and raised by a single mother who has been instrumental in making sure that I get educated. . My mother was employed but later got retrenched from her job. This brought more hard times for us in getting school fees for our education. I managed to pass through primary school and later secondary school to which I managed to finish.
After high school I did a small course in marketing and finally landed a job as a sales lady. I have been working as a sales lady through different companies from the year 2010 to present.
I have a separate business apart from my active employment where I have a boutique where I deal with sale of different clothes ranging from male and female clothes. The business has been operation for the last one year. Clothes are the this we cannot do without and so the need to do this business was to provide clients with an opportunity to buy clothes as well as make money from the sale of it. I deal with New clothes which i buy from Wholesalers and sell as a retailer. I see growth based on how i started and the growth i am witnessing. I started it from my savings and some money which I had borrowed. This has seen the business grow to where I usually buy my stock on a weekly basis due to the demand that I get and also because most of the time when I am free I use that time to do direct sales to my friend and different homes. Which are easily accessible.
I am seeking a loan that will help me increase stock in my business I currently has stock worth 600 Dollars and so an additional loan of 100 dollars will help me to manage the cash-flow effectively. Most of the time a client can order a certain cloth and if all the money I have purchased stock, this loan will come in handy to help me out in case such of emergency.
I am also intending to sell shoes for ladies and men and so i feel the need to get more cash that will facilitate the business. If i can buy these items then i am sure my business will grow to greater heights.
My budget is as follows:
Buying new stock of ladies shoes: $50
Buying Clothes=$30
Miscellaneous business expenses=$20
