Iam a woman of 25 years of aged.I began my basic education in Tamale in Northern part of Ghana. At age 15, I lost my father when I went to the junior high school.Unfortunately, my mum couldn't support us financially to complete school. So, I had to quite from school to learn a vocation in order to support my poor mum to cater for the other brothers who were at the nursery then.
Now, own a provision store and my two brothers are in the university offering ICT and Nutrition respectively. The little savings I made from the sales actually help in paying their fees. I got the support from husband to established my business.
Farming is the most dominate occupation in north and the land is fertile for cultivating cereals and other crops like yam.My first want to be a soldier.
We sell stationary items like exercise books, pens ,official papers,A4 papers among others. These goods are needed especially to school children since they are learning materials. I learn this business at childhood and have the skill to manage it well.
I will use the loan to purchase new stock like A4 papers, exercise books, pens, correction pens, white board markers among others. These items will cost $20 in Ghana. The sale of these items will increase my working capital and equally help me to repay the loan within time.
