About Me

I am Gertrude Arthur. An active woman 46 years of age and a mother of six. I come from Nobekaw a farming community in the Asunafo south district in the brong aharfo region of Ghana but I have currently relocated to Kukuom in the same region due to recent business development My husband and kids are doing very well. My main occupation is Cocoa farming. it is the main source of income to my family. i own 15 acres of cocoa farm with 10 farm workers.

My Business

I begun this noble business of mine about two and half years back with a based capital raised from the sales of my mother's jewelry. Therefore much of the farming work was soely done by me without any help while the little money I could raised from my mother was use to buy the seedlings .Many youth of today disregard farming work thinking that it is the work of th poor less privilege

Loan Proposal

Please I plead with zidisha to help me raise a loan to enable me buy more chemicals to control pest from destroying the cocoa beans. This will help in high yield. with zidisha loan i can expand my farm which in return can earn me more profit to repay the loan. Thank you
