My names are Esther Wairimu Maina.I am a Kenyan citizen by birth and i do reside at Kayole estate,Nairobi City-Kenya.i am a mother of one boy called Levis and a wife to Mr.Samuel Muthee.On my free times i do attends to the children's home within my estate to interact with the children and to give them hope in life.
After my education i was able to secure an employment at the Upper Hill school for a secretarial position for a period of five years,which i was planning to start my own employment job.In the year 2011,I secured a land through lease agreement here in Nairobi County in a place called Ruiru of an acre plot.
I have been doing the agribusiness activities for a profit gains.i normally plant all the year long since the river flows 50 meters away from my land using the diesel motor engine.Thank you
My Business
I am a farmer and i practice agribusiness as my means of daily income.I own a piece of land through leasing agreement from the owner here in Nairobi County in a place called Ruiru.It is approximately 45 minutes drive from my residential home.
I preferred doing my farming activities here since the Nairobi river flows from this direction,hence making the availability of water to irrigate my crops available through out the year.
My piece of land is one and 1/4 acreage squared and I have planted different varieties of plantations to make sure i tap the ever growing demand of the green vegetations.Currently I have planted into different portions,The first portion is for the maize,second is for the Kales & cabbages and the third portion is for the Legumes,peppers,managuz & Mbiriganyas.
The customers oftenly come for the produce on the harvesting season and most of them do return with nothing due to the shortage of the produce in the area,thus making the demand to be higher compared to what i harvest.Through your kind financial assistance,plant the quarter acre of land that i secured through with the first loan.I am planning to plant the horticultural crops which are on higher demand by my customers.I believe that I have the capability to satisfy my customers demands through your kind support and i will be in a good position to increase my sales revenues at the end of every sales.Thank you in advance for the kind consideration towards improving my farming and also for empowering my agribusiness.Long live Zidisha Microfinance team & thank you all.
Loan Proposal
I am overwhelmed by the kind gesture you have been offering my farm business with.The first loan was of great help as i was able to secure a Quarter piece of land through leasing for one full year.Now I am planning to plant the whole lot with horticultural crops.i have sud-divided the quarter land into four portions and i am looking forward to plant the whole land with different varieties of fast growing crops(3 months old to maturity)so that i can be able to sell to the nearby market and to my neighboring communities too.
