About Me

I hailed from a small village called Nsu-Nia. Even though my parents were peasants, they managed to raise a loan for me and I built a container store. Once I had junior brothers and sisters, there was the need for me to work hard to fend for them and their education as well. My mates who had their parents doing well in their businesses went to the University. With the container store I built, I began selling tin tomatoes, milk, pure water, polythene bags, sugar and some toffees.
Nsu-Hia is a village which is near the virgin forest so most of the men are hunters. Bush meat is common in this community. Most of the natives are peasants. Others grow cash crops, for example cashew nuts, coffee and cocoa. Most of the food crops that they produce are transported to the Dormaa municipality for sale during the general market on Tuesdays. My children have proposed that they want to go to University and, after that, they will be lawyers.

My Business

I sell general goods like tin tomatoes, sugar, soaps - in fact, any item that my customers would request. I make a minimum sales of GHC 300 a day. In some other days, especially market days, my sales are doubled. It is my plan to obtain a new shop so that I can put part of my goods there and employ someone else.

Loan Proposal

I'm very grateful to my lenders for funding my previous loans to support my business I really appreciate that and many thanks to the Zidisha team for their hardworking. I would want to buy the these items if my loan is funded and paid to me.baby diapers,Coca-Cola, Rice(perfume) Sugar, tissue papers, tin tomatoes, Milk, sachel water.
I will buy in details the following items with their approximate prices.
Fifteen bags of perfume rice($21)
One hundred pieces of baby diapers($19)
Twelve crates of Minerals, such as Coca-Cola, malt,Sprite etc ,($17.6)
Eleven bags of sugar ($16)
Nine boxes of tin tomatoes ($16). Profit will be realized from the sale of these items and that will help me cater for my family well.

The most fortunate aspect of my business that make it prosperous is that I'm close to the Senior High School in town so petty items they need are all bought from my shop. My dad who is a tutor at the school usually promote me on some few things that students would need and this has helped me a lot in my business.

I have in stock Milk,Milo,Nestle Cafes, rice both local and foreign, I have also bought sugar in larger quantity to supply my customers who bake bread. I have been able to buy all these out of the loan amount funded. Whilst my shop is looking attractive to customers, it is also earning me more profits. I should be thankful to my lenders for projecting my life this way. The most serious thing that will not let me forget Zidisha is that I have been able to squire a piece of building plot that in future I will build and stay in with my family. I have achieved this because of Zidisha loan. Thank to my numerous lenders who made this possible.
