About Me

My name is Nancy Wanjau, 28 years old. I was born in a small in a small village in central Kenya .I got my primary education at Muhohoyo which is in Muranga county. I later proceeded to Makuyu girls secondary school. I did not further my studies due to lack of finance problems. It was my dream to become an IT expert but I believe my dream is still valid.
I moved to the city where I worked as a house help but the job was not well paying. After a year I then and worked as a waitress in a small cafeteria. Indeed I have some experience in different jobs.
I have an adorable little boy who is at the age of four is amazing. I figure that he is too into computer and phones. He operates my smart phone like an adult. It is my wish to further his education to the highest level possible. I would hate finance to be a hinderance.
I love swimming and playing soccer. I love watching action movies.

My Business

Am into clothing industry. Mostly, here in Kenya, weather dictates what I should stock in bulky. For instance the cold season is around the corner so am focusing on stocking heavy pullovers, sweaters, neckerchiefs and gloves.
I buy mostly the second hand clothes populary known as 'mitumba'. The only things that I buy as brand new are inner wears and blankets.
I love this job because quite a good percentage of people in my locale can not afford new clothes. Every body now can afford clothes from my shop.
A bale of clothes costs around $80 inclusive of Value Added Tax(V.A.T) and sell it upto $120-140 in two weeks.
I use my profit to pay my son's insurance policy .I also Re investment little by little to expand my business as am looking forward to owning a big boutique or moreso a fashion house

Loan Proposal

Hi lenders, Given this loan I will buy a mixed bale of pullovers, sweaters and neckerchiefs. This is due to the cold season that is approaching.Since most people in my area cannot afford new clothes, I made it easier for people of all walks of life to afford second hand clothes.
Am taking advantage of upcoming cold weather because price is going to go up.A bale of 'mitumba'(second hand clothes) costs $70-80 dollars which I will sell upto $120-140 in two weeks.
