About Me

My names are Monicah Wanjiku Njogu. I was born and raised in Kiboronjo Lower Subukia. I live in a family of eight that is me, mum, dad my two sisters and three brothers. I am the second born. I joined Winyumiririe Primary school and later joined Umoja secondary school. After graduating from high school I have been doing different kinds of jobs before I finaly settled on self employment. I am a Christian that believes in God

My Business

I have doing different kinds of jobs, upon completion of my high school, I went to Nairobi where I was employed in food joint. I started saving money which was then my starting capital for my business. I buy cereals that is maize, beans, peas, ndengu during the harvest period in which the price is low. I store them and sell them later at high price where they are scarce in supply and during planting season. When the harvest is not much am forced to buy my goods in far area where the harvest is much higher then transport them in my area to satisfy my customers need. Am able to sell 2 bags each 90kg combined goods per week when the business is low and above 5bags each 90kg when the business is doing well.

Loan Proposal

Am proposing this loan in order to increase my stock which will help me as this is the planting season for farmers in our region so the demands is high for their farms. Your help will help me and hoping you can trust me so that I can be able to grow my business in future. Thank you
