I did not have University education but unfortunately financial constraints it did not materialized. I had wanted to learn sewing but my interest was was driving off suddenly. I began selling petty items like chewing gum, toffees, hacks and many others. Latter, from the savings I made with one of the microfinances I was able to acquire a loan amount of 1500GHS toofdiapers,milk,sugar,soap,minerals like Coca-cola, Fanta,malt and others. My hometown celebrate the "KWAFIE" festival.this a period that invites people from different places emerge to celebrate the occasion. My mum left a small farmland and I have cleared it up to plant some food crops to support feeding in the house.
I sell general goods like sugar, baby diapers, toilet rolls, milk,milo and many others. Tuesday to buy and sell seek buy most of these items to their various communities. The business had a capital of arround Ghc12000. I make daily sales of about Ghc300 a day and aroundGhc600 on Tuesday's which is the market day.
The principal items sold in my shop include rice, that is perfume and locally manufacturing, others include baby diapers, cornflakes etc. I will buy ten bags of locally manufacturing rice $18, perfume rice $15, cooking oil $16. I will also buy seven cartons of cornflakes $19
