About Me

My full name is Boajye Annin Randy. I come from Nkruanza in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana but I have lived all my life in Dormaa Ahenkro. I schooled in Dormaa that is primary Education,Junior High School and Senior High School. I recently wrote my final examination. I offered Agricultural Science at the Senior High level. I like to farm and would want to apply the knowledge that I have acquired to planting vegetables. In my community, most of the farmers plant cash crops such as cocoa, cashew, and coffee. I have opted for vegetables because I'm going to meet a high demand and that will fetch me profits. What encourages me this job is that planting materials such as seeds are very common and affordable. I am yet to Mary but it is my wish to work hard to earn something in life before I go into marriage.

My Business

I plant vegetables on a large scale, consume some and sell the rest.. Some of these vegetables are pepper, onion, cabbage, tomatoes garden eggs.As stated earlier on, I like planting vegetables. I liked the planting of vegetables all because few people go into this venture. Some say they are proned to fungi and bacteria infections and that makes it stand a high risk. On the contrary, I look at it as a false impression about this production. The only remedy is intensive care. Care in terms of regular control of weeds and spraying of fungicides etc. I m very glad today because most farmers come to me for my advise on this venture and I hope to expand it in future.

Loan Proposal

I wish to apply for koan to establish my vegetable farming This has been my business and it serves as a source of revenue for my family. I normally plant tomatoes, garden eggs, beans, pepper, onions, carrots etc on the same piece of land that I have divided into sections and planting is done rotationally every year. The following shows the items I will need for my project.
Knapsack sprayer for spraying pest, and controlling weeds :$7.3
Ten cups of tomato seeds :$6.8
5 cups of pepper seeds :$5.3
6 cups of carrots seeds :$5.3
6 cups of beans for planting :$6.1. With these planted and managed well,I will be making some profits after the harvest so that I can use the profit to increase the size of my land.
