About Me

I am a 30 years old gentleman doing taxi business in Kerugoya town, Kirinyaga county. I've done the business for 8years now and I enjoy every bit of it. I am married with 1 kid.I started this business because I wanted to create something for my future generation and also to be able to provide employment to struggling youth in our society for the sake of their families.I also recently about an a year ago started a manufacturing company doing cosmetic production. My first product is an aftershave and bumps control. We are venturing the market and creating demand for our products.

My Business

I started my business 8 years ago, with 1 saloon car, but I've grown it to a fleet of 3 vehicles. I chose the business because of my love for cars, and the gap I endeavour to fill where clients were dissatisfied by the cabs then. I have a large clientele base thanks to my high level of customer service and trained and disciplined drivers, which has led to many referrals so far with all clients giving satisfactory commendations. I make Kes 3,500 per day from the business. I use the profits to pay rent for my home, take the cars for servicing and save for business growth, where I am targeting to increase my fleet in due course and expand my base more.

Loan Proposal

I will add to my savings and buy tyres for one of my cars. This will enhance my efficiency in the taxi business hence more clientele satisfaction that will lead to more referrals and subsequent growth in business.
