About Me

My name is Mercy a fifth born in a family of five. I was born on April thats why my friends call me April. I am a fourth year student in Kenyatta University persuing Medical Laboratory.
I come from Kericho and live there during my holidays. I am from a humble family with a christian background.
My hobbies are dancing, reading, listening to music, watching movies and singing.
I also happen to be a businesss lady,I own a small boutique in Kericho and it is being managed by my mother while I am away at school.

My Business

I started my boutique early this year and its doing fairly well. I started from a small savings of 10,000 shillings. I mostly deal with ladies wear from shoes, outfits, bags and other lady stuff..
My business is able to sustain my upkeep and also provides small items my family needs. Atimes at the end of the month there isn't much to save but atleast it keeps me going.
I am planing to add more stock since this festive season people tend to buy alot of things for their friends and family. I am also planning to move to a bigger place thats if all goes well.

Loan Proposal

40 $ of the loan will be used to puechase shoe stock.
30 $ will be spent on clothes
20 $ will be spent on bags and other items.
The remainder of the loan if there be will be used to run the boutique in case of additional expenses i.e if the demand for a certain product rises and we are out of stock.

My business isn't doing well. I'm unable to obtain quality produce from farmers and became of this the cost of production for my product has gone up but the profit remains minimal.

    Hi Mercie,
I notice that your repayments have fallen behind.
If you are having trouble with the repayments, you may wish to formally reschedule them in order to protect your On-Time Repayment score, which will be critical should you require to borrow in future.
I hope that all is well.

    Hi Mercie,
Great to see that you are doing well.
In fact, if I could make a recommendation...
If you are finding it easy to make the current repayments, you might want to consider rescheduling to pay the loan off early.
That way you could save interest!!!
    All the Best
    Michael.
