About Me

I am Linda Nyarko and a young Ghanaian. I am 23 years of age. I am an enterprenuer. I completed senior high school some four years ago and after one year i decided to travel on the path of engaging in my small local wears business and local beads too.
I started this business when there was a clear sign that i will not be able to proceed to the tertiary due to lack of finance.
After working very hard for years now, everything is falling into place now and am glad of my decision to venture into trade.

My Business

I sell locally sown cloth, the ones we call African wear and some local beads. I buy the raw material and give them to specialist for the production to which i pic them up latter and sell.
The young and the old are turning to these local wears of late. Then the beads too used for local events and daily dressing. Hence they are in a high demand now. I ventured into this business because the starting up capital was quiet less, one that i could afford. Then my interest increased and my passion lighted up. I have consistently been making normal profit ever since i started this business.
This business have improve my life so much as is making me self reliant and supporting me and my family economically.

Loan Proposal

I am very hopeful that my loan request will be support. When it is fully funded, will invest the entire amount that will be transfered to me into my business. Having maximum energy to work hard and more smartly to make the best out and to repay my first loan on time.
I also understand that this loan is more of a reputation loan to show how i will do with future higher amounts hence when i receive the amount to be disbursed, i will be buying some few local textiles for sowing, some thread, and packaging materials to boost my production and take them into my shop for sale.
I am aware that i will be receiving around some 50$ out of the entire loan amount. with this i have plans to complement my repayments from some of my savings and my already existing stock until i am done repaying.
I have hope and i am excited to be part of an organization that is given me the chance to prove myself and later have the opportunity to raise amounts that will be of so much help to me, my business and my family.
