My name is Adlai Richmond. I am popular by "Bediako " Bediako means somebody who suffer in life. Indeed I have suffered in life. Three years of age my parents pass away so I stayed with my uncle. I like selling so he open a shop for me. I see toffees, biscuit, soap, mineral water, polythene bags mosquito coils and the rest.
I sell Tin Tomatoes, sugar, soaps. would .Since my shop is in Dormaa Ahenkro and perhaps a municipal, it is dominated by so many people therefore demand for these items are so high because the only nearest place you could get these items at a cheaper rate is Berekum. I chose this kind of business because I once visited a shop in Suyani that had general goods like my I could not believe my eyes the sort of customers who had queued to buy items. At the moment my capital is too small (ghc5000) and cost of items that I buy from Kumasi have gone high because of the dollar exchange.I make a minimum sales of ghc300 a day. I use part of the profit to pay school fees, part to feed the family and the remainder to reinvest into the business
I will buy six packets of mosquito coil an amount is $36, sugar amount of $26,six bags of sachel water costing $13, seven crates of coca-cola costing $12.
