About Me

I was born in a place called Machakos, Machakos is a town located in the Eastern part of kenya. I grew up in a very small village called Kitui, I received my education from the same place at the Katitu Day primary school, joined Kitui Boys High school for secondary education. I did well in my examination and managed to get a chance to joined Kenyatta University in Nairobi for high education. I completed the university education five years ago where i was a student in the school of Information Technology.
The hardest part of my life can be described right after completing higher education. I faced a very great challenge to secure a source of income. I have tarmacked for the past five years looking for a white collar job, i have been submitting my curriculum vitae in offices where i think my knowledge best suits but to date, i have never managed to get even one. This was a very hard experience in my life because majority of my siblings where looking up to me to provide for them.
I was talented in Arts related work, i used to do drawing and calligraphy while in secondary school and i thus thought one day that i should employ myself and do the drawings. That idea to date has been my main source of living. I do drawing and sale to people in Machakos town mostly tourist who visit the place.
What is unique with our land is that the place is extremely dry and hot and for this very reason limited farming is carried out in this region.
My hobby id art work, when i am free i spend my time coming up with new ideas of making drawings.

My Business

since securing employment in Kenya became very hard for me, i decided to start my own business. I therefore offer drawing and art services. I make drawings and sale to tourist who tour our great county, i draw family members who wish to see themselves in drawings, i also draw politicians from the same place. Generally i do different kinds of drawings.
This services are useful because to me it helps me make a living, to others on the other hand, it is useful because it helps them get a look of themselves from a drawing point of view. The service that i offer is on demand because the field is not flooded my so many people and thus this gives room for increased demand. I am also so creative and this is another main reason that make me get more customers.
I was forced by circumstance to choose this business, professionally i am an Information Technology expert and when getting employment became hard for me , i chose to venture myself into arts business. That is basically how i started this business.
I use the profits that i get to continue growing myself, recently i acquired a room in town where i carry out my drawings and selling my products, I wish to advance some money to furnish the place so as my customers can get a place to seat on when they visit my premise.

Loan Proposal

I am humbled by the chance given to express my need. I will use the loan given to furnish the room that i recently acquired in town. I need to make the room look good so that it can attract many customer and also make my customer comfortable. I need to money to paint the shop, buy some seats and table where i ca be working from. I need a total of 50 Us dollars to see through this exercise. Given the loan, i will add some money that i have made from the business and do the renovation.
I will benefit from this because aside fro doing outside jobs, i will also be having a central place where all my customers can be coming to collect there drawing as well as make orders for what need to be drawn.
I believe that i will see a raise in my income by roughly 30 us dollars
