I am Sylvia Moraa. I was born in 1992 on the 9th of November in Nakuru County, just within Nakuru Shabab Arear. I was enrolled in Langa Langa Primary, and I stayed in the same school for 8 years till I finished my primary education. I letter joined Nyakach Girls in Kisumu County, and I was there for 4 years for my O-level education.
After finishing my O-level education, since fees was hard to get from my family because I had other brothers and sister to benefit from my parents, I was not able to join university school. So I chose to do business, and that's what I felt I should do instead of stay home without doing anything. Well, selling clothes I saw it's the best idea because people must put on clothes, and in my area I saw I was at least the only person who could supply clothes at a cheap price. My parents live in Nakuru in a place called Jasho area, just within Miracle Supermarket.
My business that I currently run is of selling new and secondhand clothes. This is a business I started 2 years ago, and it has been of great importance in my life, as this is my only source of living. I take care of the needs of my family from the income that I get from the business and support my siblings. I am able to feed and educate my siblings, since my parents have financial challenges.
The business usually does well when the schools are closed: that is, during the holidays when schoolchildren are at home. I want to manage the loan that I will get well to improve the business. My inclone profit from the business ranges from $70 to $21, depending on sales and how many clients come in for clothes. This is the profit after removing all my expenditures.
If given this loan, I will allocate the funds to add more stock and also to pay for my municipal tax.
Dear lenders, I am very happy and grateful for the help you have given me and others around the globe. My business is of selling men's and women's clothes.
The major difficulty I am facing now is the stock: I have very little stock. I would kindly request you to give me this loan opportunity so I can add more stock to my business. The demand is high, but my stock is little of all items, both men's and women's clothes. I will use the money to buy ladies' clothes as well as men's clothes.
My future plan is to have a big shop where I will be having everything my clients need. I am hoping in the next 1 year I will achieve a goal of $1,500 to increase and refurbish my shop with all types of clothes. I expect an increase of 20% within a period of 3 months. This business's profit will increase from $100 to about $120 to $150, which is a big step ahead.
