Am Agnes Frimpomaa, 28 years of age and a native of Nsuatre in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I started my basic education at Nsuatre R/C primary. After my basic school education I went to Miracle Senior High School at Sunyani.
After my secondary education I could not pursue to the tertiary level due to financial constraints though had good grades. As an elderly sister of six siblings I decided with my parents to go into apprenticeship to learn something so that I could raise money in the future to support my younger siblings to have better education. Fortunately for me a friend of my mother had a hair dressing beauty salon in a nearby town called Berekum.I became an apprentice for four years learning hair dressing and other beauty services and after four years I completed my course as an apprentice and awarded with a certificate. During the four year period I went through a lot of challenges in terms of finance. After my four years of apprenticeship was over, I decided to work with my madam (master) on contract so that I will be able to save money to establish my own salon and I work with her for another four years I was being paid and so I made saving for myself over the period. I have a four year old little girl which I want to use this loan to pay her school fees. I currently live in Nsuatre which is located in the Sunyani west district of the Brong Ahafo region where I have established my own beauty salon. It is a very cosmopolitan community with people from different backgrounds. The major form of economic activity here is farming and trading.

I am a professional hairdresser and the name of my business is In God we Trust beauty salon. I renders services like hair retouching, manicure, pedicure, hair curl roll, washing and
others. The beauty business is lucrative because people always want to look nice and beautiful especially when they are to attend programs like weddings, engagement ceremonies, church and others.
Because of my good customer relation I always attract customers from far and near and that has helped me to generate income and taking care of myself and family over the years. I currently have five apprentices who are also hard working and the community appreciate my service.

Loan Proposal

I wish to apply for a loan to help me pay my daughter’s school fees .The remaing money will be used to buy her school bag,color pens because she loves drawing,drawing pads and picture reading books, I promise to abide by all rules and regulations governing it when the loan is funded. Thank you.
