About Me

I am justin Njagi,1st born in a family of six.My home is in Embu(a rural town in eastern Kenya) where i live with my parents and five other siblings.I am a farmer and i also study at mt.Kenya university part time.The reason i study part time is because my parents cannot be able to support my education together with the other siblings education so i have to work so that i can pay for my school fees.I rent a piece of land from my neighbors for one season,plant rice and once i harvest i pay for the rented piece of land,other expenses used and use the profits to pay for my school fees.It has been quite hard for me but am glad i have been trying.

My Business

Mwea is well known for its climate and conditions for growing rice..Having lacked school fees i decided i was not going to wait any more and i therefore went to a neighbor who had land that he was not cultivating and asked to rent it for a season and i would pay him once i sold the harvest.I did that and though i dint make much profit it was successful and since then i have been doing that and using the profits to pay for my university fees where i study part time.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to hire a small piece of land where i will do rice farming.I live in Mwea a place known for producing good quality rice,there are neighbors who own vast pieces of land so i will reach out to them and hire their land.I will first pay the little money that i have as deposit and pay the rest after selling the rest.I will use the profits to pay for my zidisha loan,pay the remaining part to the land owner and use the rest to pay for my school fees where i study part time.
