About Me

My name is Tandoh Lydia. After Junior High School my parents business scrambled because my father was attacked by arm rubbers and all his capital was taken away. I therefore could not continue with Senior high school but I was so fortunate my parents already have acquired a big store near the main market I took the initiative to go into business and I chose to sell clothing's,that is fabrics. With the help of my parents. Iwas granted a loan from a bank. The interest on the loan amount was high, I worked hard to repay the loan.Dormaa Ahenkro is almost a traditional town that is also a paramountcy. The town is headed by the Aduana clan so even the football team in the area is named after the clan" ADUAN" whose symbol is the Dog.shout aduana and a fun will will respond "OGYA" meaning "fire" I have two children and they all want to be medical officers. I like listening to music and I read a lot on the internet.

My Business

I sell all manner of fabrics to meet all occasions in the municipality. People in Dormaa Ahenkro attend funeral ceremonies. Adoring, church activities and all manner of social activities. In each of these require putting in shape the desired fabric. People from arround the Dormaa Ahenkro township has now chosen my shop to be their business center where they come to buy and retail to others in the neighbouring towns and villages. I chose this kind of business because I saw it to be sustainable and more encouraging in terms of profit . I started this fabric business with a loan amount of Ghc10,000 and now I can boast of arround Ghc30,000. I use part of the profit I make to pay school fees and I also use part to feed the family. The remaining goes back into the business.

Loan Proposal

I will buy PRINTEX at a cost of $79, ATL at $95, men's shirts at $59,ladies underwear at $79. Much is expected from the purchase of these items. I am likely to employ new worker if I should experience the same rapid increase of customers into my shop. If the same sales should continue, then I will be compared to high another store room.
