About Me

My names are Vincent Ayany Apunda, 28 years of age. Am the third born in a family of five, married to one beautiful wife.I started my primary education at Kenyatta University primary school in the year 1998 before joining gateway high school in ruiru for my secondary education where I sat my KCSE exams in 2007.I later joined Kenya Institute of Management for my degree in business administration, I graduated in 2014 with a second class upper.

I started my business back in the year 2013, I was a third year at the university then. Since I come from a very humble background it reached a points where my parents were so down financially and were really struggling to make ends meet. It is during this time that started this business with just a 100KES to cater for my college expenses and support my parents as well.

We are blessed with one daughter who is 10 months old, I want her to become lawyer by grace when she grows up. My hobbies are playing soccer and travelling

My Business

I run a grocery shop that stocks sukuma wiki, butter nuts, sweet pototoes, fingerlings, pumpkins, tomatoes, onions, cabbages and fruits among other goods.

As had stated earlier that I started this business while in college, I found that it was the only business I could start with as little as 100KES.It was also manageable with my school schedule and most importantly such businesses were very few and the demand exceeded the supply by far.

A business that started with a capital of 100KES has now grown to a working capital of over 25,000KES. The costs generally include transport costs and inventories where as revenue are majorly sales

On a good day I make a profit of 1800KES whereas on a bad day it drops to 1000KES or even 800KES.

Loan Proposal

This loan will be used as follows:
Onions 40kgs 3600KES
Potatoes 90kgs. 3500KES
butternuts. 3000KES
Tomatoes 1300KES
Total. 11,400KES(114USD)

Increasing stock will increase sales revenues and so is the profit.Increased profit will thus enhance my family's living standard. This increased stock is expected to increase profit by about 40%
