My name is Marble Katongo i ran a grocery in our community.I went to Kabanana Primary School and later went to Lusaka High School.I was born from the family of 3 girls and 2 boys. Here in Zambia life is not easy and one has got to work extra hard to over come challenges.Hence as for i started a small business i was selling fritters and ice blocks later started a restaurant until a friend of connected to Nambia thats how i raised a bite capital and started running grocery of my own.Our land is unique so peaceful and wonderful with traditional ceremonies were dancing take place. My children want to become medical doctors because of their father and gandfather who has been the medical doctor for 15 years is the one who inspires of my children, i loving reading magazines, novel and business documentaries.
I sale gloceries and these goods are very useful to the community because it is food retail, i choose this kind of business because you will never go wrong with food retail, i generate sale and profits every day due to high demand of perishable goods such as milk, bread, chicken prepack and meat products.I use these profits to grow the business and also use them for the well being of the family.
I need at least USD 50 to help increase stock due to the festive season because most take ways do ran out food and customers suffer a lot hence i want to have chickens, soft drinks, beer and so on and so forth. This will allow me make more profits to sustain me and the business as well.
